The House of Israel Synagogue is a thriving congregation in Ste Agathe Des Monts, Quebec.

Nearly 50% of all Jewish residents in the Laurentians are  members.  

Imagine a warm and welcoming, small town Synagogue catering to Jews from all walks of life. We welcome you to join or to visit, nobody will ask you your religious observance, your knowledge of Hebrew or how you arrived at shul.

Our objective is that we reach out to each and every Jewish resident and visitor and make them feel part our synagogue family.

The House of Israel now counts more than 1,500 families as members, hosts a vibrant and inclusive religious school and one of the city's most respected early learning centers. We are proud of how each member brings his or her own story to our diverse community—such as those who have a multi-generational history at our congregation and those new to the city or The House of Israel, of all ages and backgrounds who are seeking a Jewish community – a place to call home.
